There are many reasons to visit the NC city of Bevard. There are waterfalls, the Pisgah National Forest, mountain biking, and when done having fun outdoors, there are the breweries. I was there to see my work from 2020 firsthand.
I love clay as a medium to create and to teach. It's a time-consuming labor of love where building and decorating are done at stages of dryness. It's a complicated relationship worth the effort.
This pandemic is drudgery. I miss the shows, new people, and old friends. The other night I was in a funk, so I thought writing Christmas cards would cheer me up.
