Autumn Awe, Fall Festivals, and Mug Magic

I've been creating ceramic decals for the IBMA Bluegrass Festival mugs, ornaments, and coasters. I'm excited to share the designs with you and can't wait for the upcoming festival, where you can get your hands on one of these new items! A handcrafted mug brings unique warmth to chilly autumn days.

Creating Magic and History for Bluegrass Lovers

Creating Magic and History for Bluegrass Lovers

Since I decided to partake in the craft fair associated with the International Bluegrass Music Association's annual festival, I want to create some magic and history for the music lovers attending the festival. If you're attending an event that involves lots of walking, most will want to buy small pieces of art that will fit in backpacks. Mugs are at the top of my list.

Imagination and Growth Create Happiness; I'm Exploring my Inner Sculptress

After two successful shows, I'm ready to return to the clay studio and get my hands muddy. I'm excited to explore my inner sculptress by working on larger pieces for the outdoors, many more lamps, and building an inventory of birdhouses for the fall. The studio shelves are full of lovely work, perfect for the wedding-giving season ahead. So much to be excited for.

My New Knees and I are Hitting the Road for #TileFest 24

It’s time for TileFest 24: For the Love of Tile. TileFest is an annual outdoor marketplace showcasing contemporary, vintage, and antique tiles from artisans from Alaska to Florida. The event features live demonstrations, ceramic activities, and free tours of a working history museum, a clay and concrete castle, and a tool museum for those who geek out on old tools. Where there are potters, there is food, which means a great line-up of food trucks for all to enjoy. This is a #wildclay event!
