We've made it through another strange year and are headed into another scaled-back Christmas. But, I have to tell you I love these little Christmases. The day feels more significant. You can savor your favorite music or play the same song repeatedly. Stare into the fire while wearing all your new clothes regardless of matching. Eat moderate amounts of food then, take an evening walk to see the neighborhood lights. Give the dog an extra trip to the dog park. Or let the dog be part of the decorations. However, you spend your holiday; I wish you and yours the most beautiful holiday and an abundance of blessings in 2022.
Gem is now 7 years old; she's outgrown posing for the camera. JB (husband) and I love how she communicates through her eyes and posture. She's a daily dose of joy.
