20/20 Vision and Colorful Optimism

PT session starts with time on the bike and my new knee (actually my quad) is already lifting 3 lbs of weight.

There's nothing like 20/20 vision to let you know you've been in a state of colorful optimism. When I wrote two weeks ago, I had hoped to do some work while recovering from knee surgery. That didn't happen. The weeks have been tough, but each day is better than the one before, with more energy, flexibility, and muscle strength returning. The surgery went great. When the bandage came off, I was delighted by my surgeon's craftsmanship.

Today, I go for my two-week check-up; I'm sure I'll make my goal of driving, except for one hitch. I don't have a car. Two Sundays ago, a friend came to visit. On leaving, she misjudged the distance between our two vehicles and damaged my van's front driver's side corner. It's in the shop till the eleventh. I'll see you at the studio then.
