My Life Size Garden Sculpture Is Glazed and Being Fired?

This past week I buckled down and glazed my slab-built pedestal; it took a full seven days and some help. The drawing went quickly (two days), and I'm delighted with my coneflowers. I have several in my garden greeting me as I come and go, and it's been easy to study their style and the way they grow and mature.

The violets at the bottom are purples and lavender; the coneflowers are three shades of plummy purples, and the leaves and background are shades of green. The middle flowers are red and pink. It'll take a couple of firings, and I'll have pictures of the glaze-fired piece installed in the garden for next week's post.
