What Abilities Will You be Improving in this Unusual Time?

A few weeks into the pandemic a friend, declared, "I want to come out of this better than I went in." It resonated with me. At the time I was worried about my business and keeping the studio, my ideas about being better centered around learning how to sell online, sending the blog and newsletter out weekly, and decluttering the studio. All of that has happened with good intentions and scheduling.

Life happens, and you have to roll with the flow. Everything is a work in progress. When my studio mate, Gretchen Quinn, decided to set up her own shop I had to come up with a way to replace the lost income. It also presented the opportunity to clean and rearrange the studio for teaching again. I enjoy meeting the folks who read my newsletter when they come to take a class. I welcome the connection as much as they appreciate the creative playtime in the new space.

Life is like a lump of clay, there are so many ways to form it and none are right or wrong. You're the creator of both the good and the bad. How are you coming out of this unusual year?
