Whether it’s a date, special time with a child or friend, or any gathering you choose, my private pottery classes offer an easy, joyful way to create textured dishes you’ll love to use every day. I provide all materials and step-by-step guidance so your pieces look polished and ready to gift. You’ll make enough to keep and share while savoring time together.

These classes are perfect for the clay-curious—ideal for first-timers and children ages 10 and up. They make thoughtful gifts and memorable celebrations for newlyweds, anniversaries (like the 9th), weekend dates, sober curious outings, Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day, , birthdays, or simply exploring a new creative adventure. Details

  • $125.00 per person

  • One three hour session

  • Bring an apron or wear dark clothing, sandals are fine

  • Clay and tools are provided

  • Once made, I will glaze and fire your pieces for you.

  • Pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe

  • You can pick them up the following week or I can ship them for cost

  • I have texture tools for you to use or you can bring your own!

  • Typically, you will create 10 to 20 pieces, depending on your pace and style.

  • Classes take place at 1201 West Lenoir Street, in the charming Boylan Heights neighborhood of Raleigh. there is also a location tab lower on this page to help you find me! Parking is plentiful and easily accessible nearby.

  • You’re welcome to wear a mask if you prefer, and I’m happy to wear one as well upon request to ensure everyone feels comfortable.

  • You can reschedule anytime through the website or by contacting me directly via phone, text, or email.
    Full refunds are available if requested at least 48 hours before your scheduled class.

  • Children under 10 may participate but must be accompanied by a parent.
    Classes with four children and one parent are also available.

  • The studio has two steps at the entrance; beyond that, there are no barriers to participation.

  • Yes! Gift cards can be purchased for the full class amount on any Shop page.
    Recipients contact me directly to schedule their class.

  • Water and tea are available. You may bring any other refreshments you wish.
