New Plates to Help You Celebrate Mother's Day and Charm Your Mom

I knew I wanted to observe Spring by featuring birds in my work. You know, those delightful creatures that can sing us into awakeness, decorate the trees like Christmas ornaments, and fascinate us by building nests and laying eggs. I'm not the only one thinking of birds; Our State magazine has a photo essay on NC birds in their May issue that identifies species and where you can spot them throughout the state. You can also spot them here in the studio on these charming new plates, perfectly priced for gifting at 60. each. Come see the reorganized studio and the fantastic work that's now 15% off for my special Mother's Day Sale. Buying online? Use the code, MOM2021.

These new dishes are 10" x 7" x 1" and 9" x 6" x 1", fitting nicely inside of each other and are ideal for salads and lunches.

I'm happy to create images of your favorite birds. Thus far, I've made cardinals, bluebirds, and robins. Order today and have them in time for Mother's Day. Some of the other birds I’m thinking of are finches, wrens, and the ruby throated humming bird. Matching sets are avaiable.

Here's another set of bluebirds, the pair of cardinals on a blooming dogwood branch sold to a customer who loves to give gifts that are representative of our state.

I hope you’ll visit. There’s live outdoor music on the lawn outside the studio Sunday mornings from 11 am to 1 pm, provided the weather is good. Bring some coffee and a blanket.
