TileFest ‘23 is hosted by the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works. For two days, the buildings and grounds at the TileWorks will become a marketplace of bespoke contemporary, vintage and antique art tiles displayed by makers and collectors from around the globe.

Lenoir Street Potter’s Annual Holiday Open House. Liz Kelly, Gretchen Quinn, Xena Electra, and Marina Bosetti invite fellow makers to join them in the studio for a low key, easy going holiday shopping event. Sip and shop with food and drinks made by the makers.

The twenty-sixth Boylan Heights ArtWalk will be here before we know it! ArtWalk is a great way to start the holiday season and is always a popular event. Over a hundred artists and craftspeople will sell a wide range of glasswork, jewelry, metalwork, woodwork, fiber, clay work and ceramics, photography and prints, multimedia, painting and other art from the neighborhood’s porches, yards, and sidewalks. Food will be available for purchase from the Boylan Neighborhood Association.

Boylan Heights is located in downtown Raleigh between Hillsborough Street and Western Boulevard along Boylan Avenue. The event is free and parking is available along the street. Get your maps at the booth at the northern end of the neighborhood or at the corner of Cabarrus Street and S. Boylan Avenue. Quality craftsmanship and excellent design have always been the hallmarks of Piedmont Craftsmen's Fair. Held annually since 1963 by Piedmont Craftsmen, Inc., the fair showcases the handwork of more than 100 fine artisans from across the southeast in a setting that allows shoppers to meet the crafts people, talk to them about their work, and view demonstrations of craft techniques.
Exhibitors include craft artists working in clay, wood, glass, fibers, leather, metal, photography, printmaking, and mixed media creating one-of-a-kind works that can be functional as well as beautiful. Piedmont Craftsmen's Fair has a well deserved reputation for being relaxed, welcoming, and beautiful.
The Carolina Pottery Festival only happens once every 365 days! This year's Festival will feature more than 100 local and regional potters, showing and selling their work. You can expect to see traditional, contemporary, functional, decorative and sculptural work--something for everyone! Meet the potters who create the work, find out the story behind the pottery strikes your fancy and enjoy this indoor event at the Legrand Center.
Admission is $5.00 for adults ( ages 14 and younger are Free) and a portion of the proceeds benefits the Cleveland County Arts Council. There is free parking adjacent to the Festival location.
The North Carolina Ceramic Arts Festival is an Asheville, NC event that focuses on ceramic arts of all genres including tilework, sculpture, jewelry, and pottery. The festival includes over 40 ceramic art vendors, food trucks, raku demonstrations, and live entertainment. Come for a day of fun downtown at Pack Square. Enjoy lunch from local food trucks, listen to buskers, check out street performers, see amazing ceramic demonstrations, and shop the beautiful and diverse ceramic artist booths.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to view historic and contemporary ceramic tiles featured by artists, dealers and collectors from around the country. Beautiful and rare examples of handcrafted tiles will be on exhibit and available for purchase. A free tour of the Tile Works is included. Adult admission (age 18 and up) is $6; those under 18 and Members of the Tile Works are free. Proceeds will benefit the museum’s artifact collection and conservation efforts. Please, no pets. Rain or shine.
