Happy New Year
Area of the tub surround I'll be filling in.
I know I’m late with this wish, however I am wishing us all a happy, healthy, and abundant New Year and years to come. I am ever grateful for the peace that is in my life and wish it for the world. My year is starting out just fine with this great bathroom tile project and folks signing up for classes.
The bathroom was totally gutted and here’s where it is now. I did the tile in the wall just before Christmas so we all had an idea of what the surround will look like.
I’m always surprised by how beautiful the glaze combinations are that the customers come up with. For some reason I here the word orange and the image that pops into my mind is workers in the street wearing caution vests. I was so pleased when I opened the kiln and saw how spectacular the colors where together, I also loved that each tile was perfect. The picture doesn’t do the colors justice, they are quite vibrant.
The flowers and leaves that will make up the surround.
