Our tables are available in un-grouted and grouted, and either style can be used indoors or outdoors. The un-grouted tables are made from slabs of clay that are pressed into wooden molds to form hollow but deep tiles. Because the tiles lay in and on a frame and grid, there is no need for grout. You can move the tiles separately from the metal table frame. For the grouted tables, the bases are often found by Marina in funky shops, and she makes the metal frame to fit both the tile and the table base. The tiles she prepares for these tables are mortared into the metal frame on cement board and grouted. The cement board lifts out to make them easier to carry.
