The dining area and the living area in this home are encompassed in one large room. This floor was designed to visually separate the the two spaces. The customer chose this interlocking pattern of circles and flowers for its beauty, as well as for the feeling of motion it instills.

When a customer comes to me with an idea, I don’t always see what they may be visualizing for their home until the project is finished. This is one of the many reasons I love to collaborate and create with my clients. When I walked into this kitchen and saw the the final tiles installed, I was wowed!  It initially would not have occurred to me to use turquoise, red and black as a color theme. But the dark warm colors are a wonderful contrast to the light-filled living space. I liked the 4″ X 4″ tiles created for the boarder and back-splash so much, that I now always keep that size in stock. That’s the fun of custom work.
